Banziger Hulme Fine Art Consultants (BHFA) was founded in 2003 by David Hulme and Brigitte Banziger. Today, the company is one of the most respected specialists in art valuation and art advisory services in Australia, with 20 years’ experience in appraising art and advising clients on the purchase and sale of art.
Banziger Hulme Fine Art Consultants are members of the Art Consulting Association of Australia, where Brigitte Banziger served as a member of the ACAA executive committee from 2015 to 2019.
Banziger Hulme value Australian and international artworks in all media. When appraising art, BHFA research and analyse comparable works in order to put their assessment of a work into perspective and make the valuation transparent for the client. Relevant circumstances of a work, such as condition and provenance, are given the attention they deserve.
BHFA are not art dealers nor do they run an art gallery, but act solely as valuers, consultants and agents for their clients in the case of the valuation, sales or purchase of art, therefore providing arm’s length unbiased advice.
Brigitte Banziger and David Hulme are writers and contributors to the Australian Art Sales Digest.
